cool weather is a late intermediate jazz-rock piece that’s challenging, but sounds harder than it is. The LH plays the role of the rhythm section, creating the rhythmic feel and foundation through a mutating groove and walking bass. For the RH, the middle section has the feel of an improvisation. All comes to a pianistic display in the end, but never losing its cool.
